In 2013, a visit to Savannah inspired a profound sense of belonging in Emily Salzer and her husband, leading them to make the Hostess City their home. Drawn by Savannah’s rich historic charm blended with a vibrant modern atmosphere, they embraced the coastal lifestyle, leaving behind the fast-paced energy of Nashville, Tennessee. This move also felt like a homecoming for Emily, as she originally grew up in Jacksonville, Florida, and attended Georgia Southern University in Statesboro.
With a distinguished 20-year career in business management, development, and operations, Emily eventually decided to pursue her lifelong ambition of a career in real estate. This field allows her to fulfill her passion for serving people and contributing to the community. Her extensive experience has instilled a deep appreciation for relationships, vision, and a team-oriented culture. Emily is committed to providing clients with outstanding service, bringing together her expertise, attention to detail, and dedication to excellence.
As a wife and mother of three sons, Emily remains an active and engaged community member. She is a member of First Presbyterian Church, the Metropolitan Rotary Club of Savannah, and the Frobel Circle for the Fresh Air Home. She also volunteers with the Savannah Public School System and several local non-profits, including Family Promise. Her family resides on Skidaway Island, where they enjoy outdoor activities such as biking, hiking, walking their dog, and appreciating the natural beauty of coastal Georgia.

Evan Hanson grew up in downtown Savannah and has many fond memories from childhood. Living across the street from the Daniel Ravenel Sotheby’s International Realty office, Evan’s mother founded E. Shaver Booksellers, and the family resided in the house above the shop. Evan recalls playing in the park and church parking lot with friends and has enjoyed watching Savannah evolve from a quiet town into a vibrant destination filled with exceptional restaurants and unique experiences. To this day, Evan still loves strolling the streets and supporting independent businesses.
A graduate of St. Vincent’s Academy and Georgia Southern University with a degree in Communication Arts, Evan’s Southern roots run deep. After college, Evan moved to Atlanta and built a career in corporate sales, working with individuals at every level—from warehouse personnel to C-level executives—always treating each person with respect. Those years in corporate sales reinforced the importance of exceptional customer service, a value that continues to guide Evan today. Committed to going above and beyond, Evan believes in treating others with honesty, integrity, and clear communication.
Evan has boy-girl twins. Evan’s daughter lives in New York City while attending the Fashion Institute of Technology, and Evan’s son is stationed with the Navy at Jacksonville NAS. Evan enjoys having him nearby and seeing him often. When the twins return to Savannah, Evan loves sharing experiences they may not have appreciated as children. Favorite times include March, the famous St. Patrick’s Day celebration, and spring when azaleas bloom across the city. Summer brings cherished traditions, including “Tybee time,” with drives out to the beach, scenic marsh views, local dining, and snow cones—reminders of teenage weekends spent along the coast. Even during the heat of summer, Evan appreciates the refreshing ocean breeze.
In her free time, Evan enjoys cooking and baking, creating everything from elaborate birthday cakes to cookies and wedding cakes. Exploring new restaurants is another passion, whether dining at high-end establishments or visiting beloved, longstanding local spots. Evan is always eager to offer recommendations. Travel is another favorite pastime, and Evan especially enjoys experiencing new cultures abroad and closer to home. With a family condo in Belize and a deep appreciation for European destinations, Evan embraces opportunities to immerse in local traditions and, most importantly, the food. Recently, Evan has also enjoyed playing Mahjong with friends as a way to spend quality time together.
Now back in Savannah, Evan is thrilled to be living in a place that brings so much joy. With a deep appreciation for the city’s beauty and spirit, Evan is passionate about helping clients navigate their real estate goals. Whether assisting locals with a new home, helping sellers through the listing process, or welcoming new residents from afar, Evan looks forward to supporting clients through every step of their real estate journey.
